How I Work

Getting started is easy. All you need to do is send me a Lightroom catalogue and Smart Previews of your images and I’ll take it from there. (I’ll walk you through the process when we start working together).

To start with, I’ll apply your own preset (if you don’t have one, that’s fine, more about that later). I will then hand edit each and every image in your gallery. Consistency is my strong point, and I will tweak settings from image to image as appropriate even within the same series/setting.

As standard, I include White Balance, Colour Correction, Exposure, Cropping and Straightening, Noise Reduction and Sharpening, Lens Corrections, Dodge/Burn (Brush Tool in LR), Skin Smoothing, Blemish Removal and Object Removal (in LR). I’ll also utilise the Colour Grading, Calibration and Curves as necessary and appropriate (in keeping with your style).

I’m a massive stickler for cropping and straightening - including perspective fixes! I’ll clone out fire exit signs where possible within LR and I’ll also smooth skin and heal spots/blemishes in medium/close up shots.

Turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks, and I can turnaround in under a week if it’s urgent (or express in 2-3 days for an extra fee).

Lots of my lovely clients choose to edit a small selection of images before they send me their catalogue to show me the direction they’d like to take - this is also a good idea if you don’t have a preset (or if you have multiple presets!)

Once I have completed your gallery, I’ll send you back the LR catalogue and like magic, my edits will be applied to your images, ready to send on to your clients.
